What is live-in care (Treatment of Disease, Disorder and Injury)?

This is when an experienced Nurse or carer lives with and supports you at the times of your choice and in the comfort of your home.

The Nurse will support you according to your medical/health condition e.g.

- Catheter Care

- Stoma Care

- PEG Feeds

- Oxygen Therapy

- Pressure Area Care

- Support with Compression Stockings

- Administration of ear drops

- Administration of eye drops

- Administration of nebulisers and inhalers.

- Monitoring of blood Pressure

- Professional patient observations that are timed.

- Emergency treatment

- palliative care

- end of life care

- treatment of a physical or mental health condition.

- Giving vaccinations

Our Nurses have a vast of experience as they have worked in the NHS, private care homes, communities and hospices for years.

Our carers a similarly trained to support patients with complex conditions and they work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

What is live-in care (For the non-complex patients – Domiciliary Care)

This is when you an experienced carer lives with and supports you at the times of your choice and in the comfort of your home.

Our non-complex live-in service covers:

- support with personal care i.e., bathing/showering, oral hygiene, hair brushing, toileting/managing continence wear.

- getting appropriately dressed.

- managing food and fluid intake, including preparation of hot balanced meals.

- Cleaning and laundry.

- accessing the community for shopping, visiting friends/family and getting involved in activities you like, such as lunch clubs, coffee mornings.

- care overnight.

- companionship.

Going on errands.
